Export coordinator
My work consists of communicating with customers on issues related to orders, transport, deliveries, products, feedback, quotes etc. Duties include various tasks during the whole process from the moment we receive an order until the delivery leaves our premises and the customer receives it. My goal is to guarantee that our customers get the right products at the right time.
I'm responsible for deliveries to Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Iceland and all our export projects around the world. Education:

I came to work at Meka in 1999 as an export assistant. I was responsible for company's export deliveries. As the export sector expanded, I was nominated as export coordinator in 2006, and I became responsible for export deliveries to Sweden, Iceland and Baltic countries and to all the export projects. Tuija took part in Oulu marathon in 2005. Every year she participates in winter swimming Finnish championships and every other year the World championships. In the championships you swim a 25-meter race in ice-cold water. Tuija's placing in the championships has been around the 10th place. In addition to these hobbies, Tuija spends a lot of her spare time with junior sports. How have your duties changed during the years?
The amount of export deliveries has increased and more countries have come in. Also the number of colleagues working in export sector has increased. Large and global export projects, such as deliveries to Botnia pulp factory in Uruguay in 2005, have made my job more challenging and interesting.
During the years I've got to know a lot of people working in the industry, and strong customer relationships have been formed. The importance of personal communication with customers has increased, which in my opinion is a truly positive trend. What's the best thing about your job?
People, colleagues and customers are definitely the best thing about my job. I also enjoy challenging deliveries. It's a great pleasure to succeed in tasks that have required thorough planning and organizing. Sometimes something doesn't go as easily as planned, but that's the way it is. Greetings:
