We take the environment into consideration in our operation. Our management of environmental issues is based on our awareness of the environmental impact of our operation, products and services. We constantly update our knowledge of issues related to the environment.
We use the natural resources we need in an environmentally friendly way and we study alternative uses of resources in order to minimize their effects on the environment. This and the way we take care of other environmental issues are based on the participation of our employees. We make sure each of our employees has necessary information, readiness and training in environmental matters.
The life cycle of Meka’s products is long and our products are modular. Modularity makes possible to modify and reuse our products.
We improve continuously the level of our environmental protection activity.
We have the following goals:
1. Increase our knowledge related to quality and the environment.
2. Improve our management of quality and environmental issues.
3. Minimize the amount of waste material resulting from incorrect work procedures.
4. Decrease the amount of mixed waste by improving waste sorting.
Meka has ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate.
